Back to Colbert. The last series of Rings of Power had Bombadil in near the end. I didn't enjoy S1 first time round but catching up and following with S2 was different again. Well worth a watch. Hopefully Colbert will fill the bits between Gandalf meeting Tom in Rings of Power and the Hobbits meeting him in LOTR. I must reread The Silmarillion but, if I remember rightly, Bombadil is a much more powerful and older character than anyone in LOTR
