I believe Suzanne Thomas was married to the Edmundson guy (can't remember his first name). He became the guitar player and tenor in Dry Branch Fire Squad, and then later (probably after the divorce) she took his place in Dry Branch as guitar player and tenor/lead singer.

Last I heard, she had her own group, and her album "Dear Hearts . . ." mentioned above is very good. It has her doing the shape note song "Wondrous Love."
