I'm looking for the lyrics to a song which I believe comes from the british music halls judging by the words of the chorus which went pretty much as follows:-
I'm glad, glad, very very glad,
I'm glad I'm a gladiator.
Ancient Rome, that's my home,
Fried fish shop in the hippodrome.
I'm glad, glad, very very glad,
From my helmet to my toes,
Oh, my old dad, was a roman lad,
And he gave me a roman nose.
I've only heard the song once years ago,and I've never been able to find a copy or a recording. If anyone can provide the words, or any other information I'd be ever so grateful.
