Them suckers hurt ! Your lucky he didn't get a broken finger. I suppose you know just how big the afterschool buddies' fathers are ? It might be a consideration, even if they were up to no good. Sometimes an irate parent might not care about his little one's actions in relation to the consequences.

BTW, intruder's poem minds me of the movie Never Cry Wolf, which I consider a classic. The cinematography is only outdone by the humour. If you have never seen it, rent it today - you will howl with laughter.
