Rather than muck up the other mp3 thread, I thought I'd use this one for some basic questions. Their site is a bit confusing and they've made it difficult to find anything on any service other than the new Premium.

So, for you have have boldly gone before, I would really appreciate knowing how to do the following and a BIG THANKS in advance:

1)How do I make my midi file into an mp3 file? I went to the site & started to download their Musicmatch program, then noticed that it was only for going from CD to mp3!

1a)I want to go from my midifiles on my harddrive, either from Noteworthy Composer, WinJammer Software, or whatever else I need to use. When I tried to record from NWC to RealProducer, though, RP said it couldn't do it, so I guess those two are incompatible.

2) Does mp3 offer any free listing services after April 1st? Everytime I tried to sign up for one of the other programs listed, I got told only Premium artists could join that program.

Is mp3 going to be worth it? I'll go read the other threads for that one and look into IUMA, also.
