Dear friends, many thanks for all the messsages, which were very supportive in my time of need.

I'm feeling much better as each day passes, but I'm not able to do a lot at the moment. We have resurrected some board games to join the books and videos which help the days pass. Hospital was an enlightening experience, mainly positive, although sleep was in short supply due to some loud patients and televisions!

The staples have now come out and are now kept in a glass bottle. The first activity every day is to check the colour and shape of my bruises! (The map of Australia is no more, sadly.)
