I have a string band and a small fender passport PA, I forget how many watts, I am not very technical. I find it hard to power up for a larger room. I have larger speakers I can link up to it and plan to for next time, but my friend/bandmate says- watts are watts, all the extra speakers will do is desperse the output ,it won't increase the volume, just decrease the work load on the other speakers. I think, hope, he is wrong. anyone know about tech stuff wanna offer some advice? Thanks.
