Blake Alfonso Higgs (Blind Blake) wrote and sang many wonderful Calypso songs. My fave is "Run Come See". It's been recorded many times but the Weavers did a great job on it.

One of my students acyually SAW him in the fifties, apparently busking at the airport.

And yup...there sure WERE two of them. The hot guitarist and blues singer was "Arthur" Blake, I believe.
