I was at a bluegrass festival up north in PA, a group played annd sang a balad about a guy who thought he got caught stealin Homer Lawson's corn, but the person that came lookin in the field for him was Homer Lawson's daughter, I guess you can imajine what he reaally stole. I don't know the song writer, or the melody, but I'd sure like to know if anyone out there knows it or where I can find the lyrics, the group that done it was really good, and they may have wrote it themselves.

I don't know any more of the lyrics just the parts about the corn field and daughter.
