I think it must be something to do with the weather ... I defy anyone to live in the UK and not get depressed, when it has been raining almost constantly for eighteen months. We're also just too damn crowded. At least America has lost of room! And even when your weather is bad, at least you know summer will come eventually. I've stopped hoping.
