Jean Michelle must have been having an off day when you saw him . . he was stunning at Sawston. As for his records, I reckon the one I recommended above is better than two of his later releases.

The second you mention is Quique who continues to play in La Musgana back in Spain (lives near Madrid . .) He also turns up as a session player on various Spanish CDs (there's also a "special thanks" to him on Suzanne Sevana's wonderful CD - pity I've spelt her surname wrong!)

Can't help with "the gentle giant", though!
