There was indeed a cd realease of larkrise, i did borrow a copy for a while last year but the owner must have seen the gleam in my eye. :0) It was released by Virgin as cdscd 4020 around 1989/90.

The reason I would like it was the simple fact of enjoyment, spoken word and song evokes the book wonderfully which I think I'll read again when I get back. As for needing it on cd, I'm a bit of a completeist and obsess about things like this.

Thanks for the Gemm link Alex, I tried via allstars before, dismal faliure and rockhouse don't really appear to have it, though they say they did last October.
