Well, I guess there is really litle hope for mankind, when such a group of people, who share a common interest, a fairly, though not recent, evolution from, mainly, Europe, though before that it seems, we all came out of Africa and made different stops along the way, have to resort to bickering like the very immature children I teach. I spend all day telling them that we must learn to get along if the human race is to reach anything like it's true potential and that they must understand that people can hold different points of view without it always seeming like a threat to our own sense of security.

I shan't post on this thread again (no great loss I hear you say. If some of you lived next door to each other you'd be killing each other! What a way for an adult community to behave. I think it was Malvina Reynolds who wrote "When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?"

One parting thought. If the continents hadn't drifted apart millions of years ago, then we would all still be on one bloody big land mass. Then we'd be all Americapeons or euromericans. (Probably still kill each other off by the thousands, still-sad!)
