Use your browser's EDIT/FIND command to search for other songs to the tune in my broadside ballad index. Some are a bit on the bawdy side. Pills to Purge Melancholy, 1719-20, has "The Blazing Torch" with altered verse order, and they apparently didn't know the original tune, and came up to a new one. There's a terrible version of the tune in 'The Dancing Master' (CNTYDAN1 on my website).
