Thread Name: Help: Alternate Tuning Chords?
Subject: RE: Help: Alternate Tuning Chords?
see MarkC... If I had theory, I COULD do stuff like that.. but I'm one of those dullards that doesn't... so I need chord charts...

I'm not interested in learing theory at this point, just old chords in new tunings...

One of the reasons is voicing... The new band has 2 guitar players... and when Dan and I are both on accoustic guitar, it'd be really cool for one of us to be in a different tuning to avoid the boredom that is 2 standard tuned accoustic guitars... we already try capoing on different frets and playing different chord shapes, but something more is needed... or rather if I can find something more, it'dbe even better...

I also have this stupid dream that one day I'll be able to play like Donn Ross, Garnet Rogers and or Stephen Fearing... all heros mine, and all use alternate tunings...

;-)
