BobP: my friend Fritz met Valerie Bertinelli years ago and tells a great story about it: she was pregnant and miserable, hanging out at a recording session of her husband's. Fritz was a sound engineer. He saw she was not happy and he had a very cute picture of his two kittens. He thought he heard she was a cat lover and just went over to her and said "Hey Valerie do you like cats?" She said yes, he showed her the photo, and she went gaga! "We have three Persians!" she crowed. (I remember a spread in Seventeen magazine when I was a kid; she posed with one of them; beautiful photo). He got her to sign the photo for his cats: "To Trixie and Dixielove, Valerie Bertinelli"
