My girlfriend's son has a birthday next week, and I want to buy him a driving game for the PC.

He already has Colin McRae 2, and probably prefers 'fun' games over the 'simulations' such as Grand Prix 3. I've heard some good reports about Nascar 4, but some bad ones too.

I've done a good deal of reading on the web but get conflicting answers.

Anyone here who knows about these things that can offer advice? I think gameplay is more important than realism here.
