Jimmy, a dear friend of mine, Pat Broaders, uses an old version of a pickup that was used for sax's and other reeded instruments. It sounds wonderful onstage. I will email him straightaway for details. If one used this in their chanter and then mic'ed the drones and regulators it should do the trick. I will check on it an get back to the forum.
