I don't remember Chamberlain having a hit off HLHL here in the states, just off the show's theme , "Three Stars Will Shine Tonight". One thing I do remember is him scampering up the hospital steps in the first scenes, going to the MD's locker room, switching his blazer for the doctors' white sportcoat, pumping two quarters into the cigarette machine, and casually lighting up to think about doctor things.
