Well perhaps "professionals" and newsgroups are the operative words. Most of us and indeed virtually all of our guests with inquiries or looking for lyrics, are not professionals. Some of us may have great interest, some less.....and many who visit here are only lightly interested in folk or blues outside of a few songs. Some of those hang out awhile and get into a little more, but as a group, Mudcat is not made up of pro musicians, historians, or computer users.

Glad to know we are the only ones and that an archive of the material is planned.
