Not long after my maternal grandmother died, my mom experienced a lot of weird phenomena. She would hear her brother calling her name even though he lives 50 miles away; the doors would slam shut even though all the windows were closed and there was no draft in the house. Finally the bathroom sink exploded after she was brushing her hair over it and had just turned around. While she might have been imagining the voices and the doors, the sink definitely needed replacement.

A few weeks later it stopped as suddenly as it had started.
