Jeri, the Trillium bouzouki looks like a fine instrument.

While you're saving for this, why not start on something cheaper? I just got a 21" scale octave mando /bouzouki, which has a good sound. I think Folk of the Woods and/or Elderly Instruments sells them for 400 eaglebucks....
