I dunno, Alex. I think you killed Lent. [grin]
In the Roman Catholic Church, the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday) is considered a separate season that begins with the liturgy on Holy Thursday evening - but Lent doesn't really end until the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus at the Easter Vigil.
But heck, if somebody has been abstaining from something important like sex or alcohol, I think we'd better declare an end to Lent right now.
