I still don't really understand why.....are there "allotment" laws in Britian that only allow sales of "X" amount of alcohol in a given period of time? (not over here, lemme tell ya!) Or is Syd um, well, like, behind in his payments to the Distributor....
Now, some types of liscenses in the US demand that the venue sell X dollars of food for every X amount of alcohol.....but those places are generally restaurants, not Pubs. Pubs make their money selling alcohol......the more, the better.
Could one of you please explain??
