Should have mentioned that 3.50 was for the middle of the road stuff - I own a Ford with a Triton V8 ( a pickup for business purposes ) so I can't use "regular" without horrendous spark knock. And NO, I refuse to play with the timing. The last truck I did that with had lifters singing like a banshee in no time.
