Yeah! Sammy Maudlin was great! Do you remember Mayor Tommy Shanks, and the Melonville civic election campaigns? How about Count Floyd? How about Edith Prickley and Libby Wolfson? All that stuff was funnier and more clever than the Doug & Bob skits, but that didn't stop Doug and Bob from overwhelming the rest of the show in the minds of the public. That's irony.
