Subject: RE: Update on Winters Wages
Hi: Thanks for the concern folks...Yes, I keep a low profile as I am frightened to death. The node have gone pretty much on the outside of the body. BUT the doctor said most people get rid of this stuff after three treatments. I still have lymphoma in my spleen, stomach area and down by the spine. The catscan revealed reduced lymphoma in the spine and stomach. He saw no change in the spleen. I tell myself thats cause thats the basket or central headquaters for lymph system and it will probably be the last to go..BUT the doctor said he pulled my slide to re-examine to confirm (I though they did that..they told me so) that its a "large mass B" cell. Well, he said they could not tell as lymphoma is hard to pick the types...Soooo they sent it off to Stanford for review. My blood counts have been low...a few "knockdown"days. My finger tips numb from the "vincristine" so I make typos. Cannot play guitar (not that I could anyway)..No hair..and pretty lonely...All this started well...it a personal matter but lets just say, as the old song goes, "dont play b17 it was our song" Sure you guys get the picture. Anyway..Dont worry about me..I will survive...Work has been kind to me I am sked gfor chemo on Tuesday..blood count permitting UGH! Dont mind the juice but that damn Prednisone for five days wires me up. Miss all you guys and Radriano sorry I did not answer your call..Tell everyone Im Hanging! and good luck with the concert. Tell John I sang his song but dont want to go there just yet***BG Warm Regards Lloyd Jones "Winters Wages"
