Okay, so "rounders" existed in 1828 in England, and "baseball" (I'm taking your word for it that the rules promulgated by your pre-Doubleday Canadian dude make it baseball more than just in name) in Canada in 1838. This leaves a lot of history to be made up, and not just 10 years!
