Nanook goes after the Caribou with the Raven as spiritual guide... he breaks through the ice and gets wet in 75 below weather... he kills a sled dog, cuts him open and warms his frost bitten hands... gets the Bou so near death he slits it's throat and drinks the blood with nanoseconds to spare before he blacks out and dies from starvation. A real literary classic. Pretty gross for most young kids and many adults, too.
