Actually the thing that probably clenched it for my wife, back when she was just somebody I was meeting for the second time, was taking her up to Mt. Rainier with a ice chest full of sandwich fixin's and my guitar. We sat underneath the glacier with the cool wind blowing through the thin mountain sunshine, munching turkey sandwiches, while I serenaded her with folk music.Take it from me, guys -- you don't need to know how to cook.
Although I do. Very well, in fact. For which fact I thank my grandmother (God rest her soul).
