I agree. And, some Christians seem to forget there was humanity before Christ, and humility after (um, meaning and during) him. It IS hard to fully gather someone's meaning from mere words without the advantage of the voice's support, a fact that's been mentioned here before to be sure.

I've noticed your pax and it always reminds me of my Dad who sometimes would sign letters to the congregation (he was a clergyman) the same. This is a pleasant reminder. I agree with you also regarding the perception "that a mistake is a reason...". I'd rather be corrected than dismissed (or dissed), even if my ego gets bruised in the process. Much of my fun here in Mudcatville is "listening" to everybody get involved with one another enough to be comfortable correcting and discussing and sharing views, even when they're not my own.
