The Golden Rule was an old concept before Jesus was born. Blackcatter, you and I are close in our philosophy. It's hard for me to think of being proud just because I'm white. Why is that something to be proud of? I had nothing to do with it, I did not earn it, and, it is not nearly as important as being a good person. How can we justify being proud of anything? Does this not imply superiority? an inflated ego? "Pride goeth before a fall."
