A small news item in one of the British newspapers today states that a replica of Michelangelo's David now wears a white loincloth after complaints by residents of Luke Alfred, Florida after it was placed outside a local business. What next? Longer table cloths to hide the legs of tables like used to happen in Victorian times when it was apparently thought that the sight of all those legs might inflame male passions.
