G'day, Bob, I do appreciate this. There's just one word in the version I transcribed that isn't covered in either of these. (Mine is sung by Dave Webber and friends on Beggar's Velvet). It's in the verse about Polly:
"She ****** up all the things he took, and..."
It sounds like 'cant' or 'cat' or 'tat'. Are there any Aussie slang words for hock or pawn that sound like that? (Mind you the whole phrase sounds like 'cant up all' so it could be a polysylabic word instead)
