You picked some pricey stuff. A Rick 12 is great but costly. Gretches are more available unless you want a Super Chet. I lean towards Guild Electrics. Every bit as nice as Fenders and Gibsons and about 2/3rds the cost. Great solid body sound and some even look like old SG's.
