Bola Sete was the best samba and bossa player ever!! He played a lot in the US during the 60's, particularly in SF, and influenced a lot of the guitar players that were there at the time. Meanwhile, I think there is a re-release of a collaboration with Vince Guaraldi now available, and also Bola Sette Live at the Monterrey Pop Festival--featuring his trio. My favorite album, "Bossa Nova", at least as far as I know, has not come out on CD--he did a lot of recording on the Fantasy label, and I think someone had told me that much of his stuff is available in Brazil--

His playing is featured in the film "Black Orpheus", and I am told that there is a nice long bonus track of his on the soundtrack CD--
