I'm not going, more's the pity, but about 11 years ago I went to Muenster with Ebor Morris from York (which is twinned with the city) for the big international dance festival being held in the Muensterlandhalle. I got into a cracking session outside on the forecourt area one warm night with a couple of Swedes, a German, an American, and several others who I don't know where they came from. I will admit to it being in my bodhran days, but at least it meant I knew the tunes! The Swedes had to be dragged out of the session to go home on their bus or they'd miss the ferry!

Anyway, more to the point, it seems from what I remember, that not so far from the 'halle there is a pub that brews its own. (You could always trust Ebor to nose out something like that)! I didn't get to go in because I was childminding most of the time. All I know is that it was near enough for them to visit and not miss what they were supposed to be doing at the event.
