Also, "96 tears" was recorded in a garage on a really low-fi tape recorder and sent in as the demo for the band. The record company simply released the demo. Whether or not "Midnight Hour" was recorded under better circumstances, I do not know. But I do know that "96 tears" was a demo, home-recorded, on low-budget equipment.
