I was looking though some old threads and found references to Elton Hayes (and Shirley Abicair). I remember him on TV when I was very young. As far as I know he was originally from Swadlincote in Derbys and went on to play Alan-a-dale in one of the Disney versions of Robin Hood. (Not the one with Errol Flynn.) Shirley was a Austrailan who is unfortunately no longer with us but is Elton Hayes still alive? I have a couple of 78's by him.
