I was listening to our public broadcaster during a nightshift when they just stick on a stack of CD's and leave them, and a song came on Which I presume was called plastic paddy. Having had a bit of a search around I am now thinking it could Eric Bogle's plastic Paddy from his Mirrors album, but having never heard that I don't know. The song had a definite Australian flavour so this makes sense ( yes I know he's Scottish really!!!)

Anyway the song starts

He's just a plastic Paddy in a plastic Paddy Pub Singing Plastic Paddy Songs

and the in finishes along the lines of

And you're thinking as push your way to the door - Where are you when we need you Christy Moore

Anyone help on this?
