The same sort of thing tends to happen with most ongoing human activities, I've noticed...clubs, political parties, associations, communes, whatever. The good side of it is that there's a lot to learn and experience along the way. "Nothing lasts forever but the Earth and Sky", as the warriors used to say when they rode into battle.Another thought: maybe a lot of people have talked themselves out on the musical end, and are exploring the other 185 million or so things that are out there to talk about. I could launch any number of threads on Bob Dylan, for example, but I don't, cos what would be the point, really? It's pretty well all been said by now.
One thing that is great about this site...if you have a musical question, you will get the answer from someone, and usually quite quickly. That's very handy.
