hello all I always heard that "The Gypsy Rover" was a child ballad (#200) but I only have the Student version of His collection & the Gypsy Rover is not in the student edition. I have been unable to axcess the data base here to find out & it is not on Lesly's site. So does any one have any info on "The whistling Gypsy Rover" as to when it was written or any other info.
