I've sawed down a Eb whistle to make an E from a Generation - works a treat. Hot SOAPY water removes the glue then use some grease to put the top bit back on. I find whistles need regular replacement as they have a tendency to go out of key after a while. My Susato is fine on the lower register but a bit unpredictable on the top so altho' they are quieter I prefer the generations for most stuff.
