Sullsinger, I also do not like fake brogues, mine is the real thing, but you do have a pleasant voice and I enjoyed 3 of the 4 songs I listened to (Danny Boy really needs a rest). I agree with Noreen as far as using your own accent and there are lots of Irish songs out there that I am sure you could do a great job with them, Please be yourself and things will work out great. Listen to some old Ruthie Morrisey records, she was an american who sang Irish songs without putting on the brogue,
