Frank, I feel for you, I really do. I lost a place like that last summer. My wife and I courted in there, we even had our wedding reception there. We had heard rumors that it was going to close, but nothing concrete. I went away to Augusta for a week, came back to find it gone. We had been planning to have our anniversary dinner there and had to make other plans. It took weeks to find out where all our friends were now going. The new hangout is nice, but it's just not the same.

My deepest sympathies in your time of loss. It really is like losing a good friend. A good, rousing wake would be in order.
