For a very short while at primary school, we had a teacher who loved to tell us about different traditions and then get us to do something with them, we happened to do May day and it's the only time I've ever danced round a maypole ( yes it was fun ). Normally, I greet the sun and if I'm in aplace I can get away with it, sing appropriate songs at the top of my voice. Then the eating, drinking, and eerrr.... other things occurr.
