Subject: RE: BS: How Many of Us Perform With Family?
My husband, our elder son (age 16) and our daughter (14) have been joining with friends to perform and lead music for the past two summer at "Candlelight at Christ Church: Songs and Stories of a Civil War Hospital." This year our younger son (age 11) is going to join us, singing and playing lap dulcimer on 'Old Dan Tucker." I'm hoping that he'll get more involved as time goes by. The eldest 4 of us and friends also did traditional stuff as a segment of this year's local "First Night:" celebration. We're also looking into going to some local open mic sessions, to do Am. and British Isles traditional music. It's my heritage an in my blood.

For years I've sung in my husband's "Schola Cantorum of Gettysburg" choir. Last fall the older boy joined. It really is a great thing to make music together.
