Danny Mangold, of "Danny's Music" in Everett, Washington, was badly hurt in a car crash April 21. According to a newspaper article in the "Everett Herald," his store will be closed down. Apparently his injuries are so severe he won't be able to continue in business. For those that are not aquainted with Danny, he is a real shaker and mover in the music world on the West Coast. His background is strong in the area of Rock and Roll. He is known world wide as a collector of vintage instruments. He markets these through his website www.danny'smusic.com . His knowledge of stringed instruments of all kinds is phenomenal, and he has been a huge help to many upcoming musicians. Many times I've enjoyed just hanging out in his store and watching the interplay between Danny and those that walked in. I do hope he can recover. His dynamic and personality will be sorely missed.
