1) Remember that your utility cables are buried in the ground . . .

2) Remember that the modem cable is buried near the surface . . .

3) Remember NOT TO SWING PICKAXE before figuring out where modem cable is buried . . .

4) Remember to say a prayer of thanks that Dear Hubby did not skin you alive and hang your hide on the fence for the coyotes . . .

5) Remember not to smack the cable modem repairman with your new pickaxe when he gives you that 'what an idiot!' look when he comes to repair sliced modem cable . . .

6) Remember to be honest (if shamefaced) and admit to your fellow 'Catters that you did a VERY STUPID THING with your new pickaxe . . .

. . . I've got to go and spread my Mother's Day present (three bags of lovely aged horse manure) on the garden -- and no pickaxe swinging today -- and then I will be back to thank you all properly for your wonderful, wonderful songs . . . It was my birthday on Friday, and these are the best gifts I could ever get!!
