Hitler was a vegetarian teetotaller and a fanatical anti-smoker since you bring up the subject. He didn't actually die outside the Berlin bunker and is presently alive and well and sitting on my local Board of Health.

For health songs, I would recommend Junk Food Junkie (in the database) and Spanish Pipe Dream, also in the database. I suppose Valdy's "Simple Life" would qualify too.

I don't think you will find too much in the way of health songs from traditional ballads. They seem to have liked their roast beef, pipes, ale, and spirits. I seem to recall reading the words of a Temperance song that promoted the use of water over beer, but for some strange reason it never caught on.:)
